Business Development Executive


Job Description

Position Purpose:

A Business Development Executive is tasked with the job of helping the business grow by assist KRH acquire new customers and sell additional services to existing ones. In general, he/she is responsible for the sales process from start to end; beginning with lead generation, pitching the service through meetings and presentations and finally maintaining fruitful relationships with clients. This is usually for preassigned market segments. After the deal is closed and he/she is responsible for creating and maintaining fruitful long term relationships with clients and ensure customer engagement.

Tasks, duties and Responsibilities (KSA) Below is a list of material responsibilities and essentials duties which must be completed to achieve the objectives of this position.

1. Searching for and generating new leads through various means: cold calling, business networking, online portals, researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing, etc.

2. Pitching products and/or services

3. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

4. Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets

5. Contacting potential clients and arranging meetings via email or phone.

6. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

7. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events, to build maintain and continuously expand business connections.

8. Preparing presentations and sales displays

9. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the KRH’s services

10. Developing RFPs and RFQs.

11. Negotiating and closure of sales

12. Careful follow up on sales opportunities.

13. Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly.

14. Working to achieve weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.

15. Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.

16. Interface between clients and all internal departments at the beginning or projects, to ensure smooth roll out and execution.

17. Acting as the POC for any upselling with existing clients during project life-time

18. Maintain effective long term relationships with clients

19. Maintaining the records database on pipeline projects

20. Responsible for any upselling activities or expanding services with existing customers.

21. Keep track of customer satisfaction or interactions in coordination with Account Management department to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.
